Four boats move into finals at Great Lakes International Challenge Cup

Moving onto the finals are on Sunday are Henrique Haddad with 7W-1L, Geoff Becker with 6W - 2L, Shawn Bennett with 5W-3Land Mark Johnson with 5W - 3L. Winds continued to be light and variable with a 1.5 knot current in the Erie Basin, Buffalo, New York.
Mark Johnson will automatically move on to to the United States Match Racing Championship as the representative from Group E/K.
The event was umpired by Chief Judge, David Pelling from Montreal, Quebec; Kathy Dyer, Hamilton, Ontario; Katie Nicoll, Toronto, Ontario; Rob Overton, Fort Myers, Florida; William Thorpe, Detroit, Michigan; Hans Graf, Sheboygan, Michigan; Rick Sullivan, Rochester, NY; John Tracy, Buffalo, NY. Our PRO from USVI, Bill Canfield, did a terrific job with course changes at the leeward mark for almost all the races.
Winds look more promising on Sunday, when the finals (best out of three) will be held.
