Following a year of outstanding achievements and remarkable growth, the RS21 UK & Ireland Class is thrilled to announce that entries for the RS21 UK Nationals 2024 are now open!

The excitement is building the RS21 fleet heads to Dartmouth from 15th to 18th August for the pinnacle event of the RS21 season. The National Championships also doubles as Round 6 and the final round of the RS21 Cup, can someone do the double?!

A Look Back at 2023

The 2023 RS21 National Championships in Lymington was a significant milestone, attracting an impressive 25 boats that battled it out on the western Solent. This turnout not only exceeded expectations but also surpassed the participation in more established classes like the J70 and SB20, showcasing the rapid growth and popularity of the RS21 class.

Building Momentum in 2024

"This year we wanted to showcase the ultimate one-design racing experience the RS way; be the best sport on the water with events ashore to match, the first few Rounds have certainly lived up to this with plenty of new owners and teams. We can't wait for our National Champs in Dartmouth to finish the RS21 Cup on a high!" says RS21 International Class Manager Nick Redding.

Dartmouth Dreams

The UK National Championships, which is also the final round of the RS21 Cup, will take place at the Royal Dart YC in Dartmouth. With racing in the beautiful Dartmouth Bay and the event village hosting our social diary at the Royal Dart, this is set to be a hit with families as well as competitors.

World Championships

Following the Nationals, the season will culminate in the RS21 World Championships 2024 in L'Escala, Girona from 23rd to 28th September. Fleets from Italy, Polan, UK, the Netherlands, US, the UAE and beyond will come together in a celebration of the RS21 ethos!

Join the Revolution

The RS21 UK & Ireland Class is more than just a racing series; it's a growing community. "Every event is really welcoming. Whether you're a boat owner, charterer, or crew - everyone just wants to race and have a good time," says Liam Willis, helm of the RS21 team 'Dark and Stormy'.
