Glaschu Clyde One Design Regatta 2024 Preview

Clyde One Design Regatta are delighted to announce Glaschu Spirits Co as the Headline Sponsor for the Clyde One Design Regatta, to be held at the stunning waterfront location of Royal Gourock Yacht Club on 6th July 2024.

This highly anticipated event is a highlight of the local one design sailing calendar, attracting top sailors and sailing enthusiasts from various classes including Etchells, Pipers, Loch Longs and Flying Fifteens.

The event returned to the Clyde sailing calendar last year after an absence of almost 20 years and this year looks set to see almost 30 entries taking part in competitive inshore racing. The competitors can look forward to returning to the Royal Gourock Yacht Club, where they can expect superb race management and an excellent social event.

Duncan Munro, Regatta Chairman has said: "The organising committee is hugely appreciative of Glaschu Spirit Co's generous commitment, which is vital to ensuring the event's success and will go a long way towards growing the event for future seasons. This announcement will boost the already high buzz of excitement around the event. We look forward to working in close partnership with Glaschu Spirits Co and the Royal Gourock Yacht Club to deliver another memorable Clyde One Design Regatta".

Founded in October 2020 by Directors Paul Jamieson and Julian Mithoff, Glasgow based independent bottler duo, Glaschu Spirits Co, are known for their carefully curated selection of single cask whisky. Each release features an interesting and unique cask finish or maturation, complementing the high quality spirit from some of Scotland's finest distilleries.
