Patience was the key word for the last day at the RS Aero European Championship / RS Eurocup, organised by the Yacht Club de Carnac (YCC).

The 132 sailors and the Race Committee hopefully waited for the wind to pick up under a sunny sky. Around 11.00, all the boats headed towards the starting line, crossing fingers for the wind to settle around 5 knots. Unfortunately, conditions were not right, no race could be launched and the championship was declared over by the organisation.

In the end, eight races were validated for all series and despite a deceiving last day, all competitors enjoyed their time in the Bay of Quiberon.

The RS Aero European Championship / RS Eurocup took place at the Yacht Club de Carnac from 21 June to 24 June and gathered 131 teams from 14 different nations.
