This is advance notice that the Early Bird Discount for Ramsgate Week 2024 is due to close at the end of May. Widely known as the friendly regatta, the event takes place in August from 11-16th, making it a great event to bring your families along to enjoy the fun.

Cruiser Classes - 2024 sees the continued addition of Class 4, a cruiser class designed to support newer style yachts using asymmetric spinnakers and code 0 sails and encourage an increase in cruiser class sailing at this next regatta. The new class will be in addition to Classes 5,6 & 7.

IRC Classes - 2024 brings another warm welcome to our IRC classes, we plan to run with two IRC classes with the class 1 break point being 1.000 and above. We run a full week series and a Midweek series from Wednesday to Friday as a separate series within the main Ramsgate Week series.

Classic Yachts - This is a class for all yachts over 24ft length on deck, built of wood or steel before 1975 or in GRP before 1965. A division for Spirit of Tradition yachts may be allocated for boats built after the above dates to designs that reflect the appearance and virtues of classic yachts. We welcome Classic yachts entries and Class 8 is dedicated to run should there be 2 or more Monday to Friday entrants in 2024.

After a challenging day's racing between the North and South Forelands you are within a five minute walk from your berth to the Royal Temple Yacht Club where you can relax with fellow competitors whilst enjoying the very best in warm and friendly hospitality all under one roof. Ramsgate is now so well supported with Restaurants and Bars that you are guaranteed to be able to relax and enjoy your time ashore during the regatta.

There is live music on the Monday and Tuesday afternoon, after sailing and from Wednesday to Friday we have bands playing in the evening.

Come and join in the fun!
