Sport and inclusion in sea with Sea4All teams at the Regatta "dei 2 Golfi" in Lignano Sabbiadoro (North-eastern Italy) From April 25th -28th in Lignano (Northern Adriatic Sea) will take place the 2 Gulfs Trophy offshore sailing with the participation of Càpita, the accessible 9.50mt daysailer one-of-a-kind with inclusive teams from the local sport association Tiliaventum. It is a competition not specifically paralympic, reserved for boats with ORC formula, and the participation with inclusive teams (with so-called disabled together with able-bodied on board all as active protagonists) confirms once again that sport, sailing, sea, wind belong to everyone and are for all....

The competition with the noble teams from all over Italy and from abroad that this important event attracts in the Adriatic waters is already a huge "victory" and a further opportunity to confirm the complete feasibility of the inclusion, of the psycho-physical benefits that the sport can give...at sea but also during the aggregative moments before and after the race, favored by the accessibility of the Tiliaventum site located within D-Marin Punta Faro Resort.

The boat, Càpita, is a monohull sailing high-performance boat with solutions that make it easily usable by everyone: from an independent access on board with the proper electric or manual wheelchair, the steering wheel without spokes for its comfortable use, the mobile platform for a secure and pleasant skid-boat posture, excellent visibility from a sitting position, color contrasts for a favorable perception of spaces and equipment for those with visual limitations, the joystick for steering in case of motor limitations to the upper limbs, to the maneuvers accurately positioned to make them usable by anyone and much more.

With this boat the so-called Sea4All activities (Sea For All) of the association Tiliaventum from Lignano include participation to regattas, not specifically paralympic such as the 2 Gulfs Trophy, but also to the famous Barcolana, the Autumn Championship and many others, and the satisfaction is even greater if prestigious sporting results are reached (1 degrees place at the 2023 Autumn Championship, 1 degrees place class in the previous editions of Punta Faro Cup, 3rd place at the Lui&Lei in reduced crew and many others).

Sea4All is a very intense program of continuous activities coordinated by the inexhaustible President Dan Passoni supported by about fifty volunteers and members, who, in addition to racing, organize open days, sailing, transfers, courses, information/training activities, but also kite4all, sup4all, excursions, aggregative opportunities and much more all year round, without physical, mental nor economic barriers (participation is free of charge), focused on the person as such, regardless of the so-called disabilities, discomfort, fragility, terminal diseases, normal one... where diversity is captured as a resource and opportunity to build a more serene everyday life for all with satisfying social repercussions involving structures dedicated to the assistance of the Person, such as the consolidated collaboration with the Mental Health Centre from Gorizia.

he excitement is so great in view of the tests at sea, the crew members can't wait to show up on the starting line, to live the regattas and to return with an additional stimulating and rewarding baggage of experience that sport can give. Sea4All enjoys the patronage of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Io Sono FVG, City of Lignano Sabbiadoro and the indispensable support of Zampa Foundation, D-Marin Punta Faro Resort, Giotto Wine Listener, Tecnolam Belluno, Intras Lignano, Triring, KeepSmart and many others that are always active in the realization of all these wonderful activities.
