The first serious racing in the 36th America's Cup regatta gets underway on Thursday December 17, 2020 with the first races in the America's Cup World Series.

In this 26 minute video the America's Cup media team walk you through the evolution of the America's Cup, followed by a explanation of the AC75, and how the key components work, including the double skinned mainsail.

Racing gets underway on Thursday January 17th at 3.00pm with the first match between the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand and the Challenger of Record, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. Race 2 is between USA (American Magic) and INEOS Team UK. Race 3 is between GBR and ITA, with the final race between USA and NZL.
