American Magic, the New York yacht Club's entry in the 36th America's Cup in March 2021 have released new images of the AC75 surrogate, formerly known as "the Mule" (presumably a euphemism for the team's workhorse). She now more stylishly labeled the AM38.

Pictured sailing in both Newport RI and Pensacola, Florida, she is sailing with a crew of five (just under half of the 11 permitted on a full size AC75).

The sailing performance has been must un-Mule-like - with the foiling monohull appearing by video and on-the -water reports to be performing very well, and appears to be a reasonably stable platform, which is encouraging news for all six teams entered so far in the 2021 Prada and America's Cup regattas.
