Top ten for Mussell & Langdown at Contender Worlds in Monterey Bay

by Sarah Desjonqueres 30 Apr 2016 08:49 PDT 23-29 April 2016

The Contender Worlds at Santa Cruz Yacht Club, has wrapped up for another year after 9 races that saw the top of the leaderboard change hands several times. The last race brought lights winds and a disappointing DNF for Mussell, but Langdown carried on with his consistent top 10 placings, posting a well deserved 9th place to finish his 2016 campaign in 6th position.

The final Championship positions see an Aussie 1,2 with Bulka taking the trophy home and Beebe as a proud runner up. Our defending champion will leave with a highly respectable 3rd place. Fantastic championship and great effort, Mussell and Langdown have done both themselves and Highcliffe Sailing Club proud.
