Races 3 and 4 were completed in 4 to 8 knots of oscillating North Easterly breeze.
Race 3 – Australian’s Norman Rydge and Richard Scarr led round the first triangle and were passed at the second top mark by New Zealand's Hideo Tayama and Angus Reid closely followed by another Kiwi pair, Paul Scoffin and Pavel Ruzicka in third. Kiwi sailors Andrew Mckee and Matt Bismark sailed strongly to take second and Australia's Norman Rydge and Richard Scarr were third finishing off a great day for them.
Overall placing's see Hungarian sailors Majthenyi and Domokos take a 1 point lead over Australian’s Rydge and Scarr second and with Kiwi’s Paul Scoffin and Pavel Ruzicka in third after four races completed.
Australian Richard Scarr commented this afternoon to Sail-World
‘Today was very light, with 30 degree shifts. It was just 5 to 7 knot with choppy short waves, with pressure coming from both sides of the course. Pressure was king. Down wind sailing hot angles was paying, but getting deep when you could on the waves was important. Tomorrow will be the telling day.’
