After a first mark pile up in today's final race threw the fleet and the results into disaray, Bill Hardesty from Chicago, sailing GBR723 Gorgeous Worgeous with owner Quentin Strauss and Nigel Young of North Sails Ireland, eventually finished first, claiming the historic Edinburgh Cup trophy.

IRL192 Chimaera (Andrew Craig, Brian Matthews and Pedro Andrade) finished second with GBR716 Jerboa (Gavia Wilkinson-Cox, Mark Hart and Mark Daly) third.
