Images of the hot 12 Foot Skiff class

This years dinghy show saw the arrival of the Bartercard 12 Foot Skiff class in the northern hemisphere. This was the first chance for the general public to see these incredible machines and the opportunity wasn’t wasted.

The fully branded boat was awash with people studying how it was put together and gasping at the enormity of the rig. With the new promotional video and pictures from the recent Interdominions in Australia there was plenty to see.

[Sorry, this content could not be displayed]It was just 12 months ago that the class first exhibited at the show with little more than the concept. In that short time the progress made has been substantial and indicates the excitement and level of interest in the sailing community.

[Sorry, this content could not be displayed]No matter whether you want to have the opportunity to sail a 12 or simply come and watch the events there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. The events in the diary have been chosen and organised so that spectators can get up close to the action.

[Sorry, this content could not be displayed]The show takes an incredible amount of effort to organise and our thanks go out to Tom Gruitt, Andy Lang, Iain Christie and Tom Vian for all their help over the two days. It was a great chance to meet everyone and we all thoroughly enjoyed sharing our enthusiasm for the class with all those who visited the show.

Sometimes it just all goes wrong!
