Bell's Bayview Mackinac Race - Registration open and NOR online

by Bayview Mackinac Race Committee on 6 Dec 2014
SW
For the 2015 Bell's Bayview Mackinac Race registration is now open! Congratulations to Flying Buffalo and Just Chill for being the first boats signed up, and thanks to the nine other boats already signed up! You can register now here.

The Notice of Race for the 2015 Bell's Bayview Mackinac Race has been published and can be found here. This year features several changes intended to create a better race experience and more competition on the water. Changes include:

- The implementation of a 'speed limit,' meaning that boats rating faster than 99 seconds per mile will race on the Cove Island Course. All boats have the option of sailing the Cove Island Course, and boats rating 99 seconds per mile or slower have the option of sailing the Shore Course.

- The inclusion of Cruising Class boats into the Racing Divisions, meaning that more boats will be competing for overall awards. Cruising Class boats will be credited appropriately for modifications made in line with Cruising Class Rules.

Read about these changes and the rest of the Notice of Race by clicking the link above or by clicking here and clicking the 'Documents/Forms' tab.
