Hall Spars & Rigging NZ have confirmed they are part of the latest project from the creators of the 18 Foot Skiff Grand Prix Sailing circuit in collaboration with Morelli & Melvin Design - the SuperFoiler Grand Prix.

With a simple brief - 'Create) the fastest course-racing boat ever'. The developers knew who to come to for the evolution of the rigging. Hall Spars NZ immediately stepped up to the plate to build the rig and all the foils. With down-wind speeds up to 40+ knots, these 'sailing weapons' are entirely unique in their geometry.

'Designed 100% as a foiler, nothing like them has ever been produced before', Pete Melvin of Morelli & Melvin Design says, 'Sailors will need to be world-class and on top of their game to handle them.'

An eight event circuit will cover Australia and NZ come summer 2017/18, and will feature on Australia's Network 7.
