ORCi World Championship 2013 Andrea Carloni
At the 2013 ORCi World Championship, as crews for the 110 entries from 15 countries enjoyed the scenery of the Adriatic coast of Le Marche, the onshore seabreeze was just not strong enough to win over a weak offshore gradient wind, so race managers could not set up a suitable course for racing in this fourth day.
Nonetheless, as at every race day at this ISAF World Championship event, teams still enjoy post-race entertainment and pasta and wine specialties from the region, served in the piazza of the Marina Dorica venue.
In a bid to buy more time to get more races into the remaining two days in the schedule, the Race Committee has announced that tomorrow's first Warning signal 1.5 hours earlier, at 10:25 local time.
Currently Piero Paniccia's Cookson 50 Calipso IV is in the lead in Class A, while in Class B Giuseppe Giuffre's M37 Low Noise is leading Class B.
