Gazprom International Dragon European Championship 2014 Matteo Littardi
On day two of the Gazprom International Dragon European Championship, a strong easterly wind of 30 knots blowing off Sanremo from the early hours of this morning put a stop to racing today, which kicked off yesterday under the organisation of the Yacht Club Sanremo.
The Race Committee went out to sea several times to check the weather conditions: in the early afternoon the wind turned to the north but remained very intense and very unstable in the direction. The Race Committee eventually decided to instruct the 84 teams competing to win the title of European Dragon Champion to stay ashore today.
The racing will resume tomorrow and will continue until Saturday March
