Emirates Team NZ have folded their tents and started the physical move to San Francisco, where they will be re-erected.

A report on the team's website says that the base and boats have been packed into 70 40ft containers ready for shipment to San Francisco.

The team is expected to be sailing again on San Francisco Bay on May 23, 2013.

The Louis Vuitton Cup, or the Challenger Selection Series, commences six weeks later on July 4 2013.
