Come April 2010, you might be racing at Sail Port Stephens -and if that’s the case – every race you enter gives your boat an entry in the draw to win a Mariner Boating Holiday to the Mediterranean valued at $15,000.

The owners of Mariner Boating Holidays, Trevor and Maggie Joyce, spent some time at Sail Port Stephens in 2009, and liked what they saw in the fastest growing regatta on the east coast.

From 25 boats in 2008, to 64 boats in 2009, Sail Port Stephens attracts a large number of cruiser racers (or racer cruisers – depending on how competitive you feel on the day...!) for the Commodores Cup and the Port Stephens Trophy.

There’s also a grand prix element to the regatta with the Yachting NSW IRC Championship.

But whatever your style of racing at Sail Port Stephens, two weeks relaxing on a Mariner Boating Holidays yacht rally in a gorgeous European location is always going to be
appealing!

Every boat in every race at Sail Port Stephens gets an entry – it’s as simple as that!

The prize, valued at $15,000, includes international and domestic flights for 2 people, accommodation on one of the participating yachts in a Mariner Boating Holidays Yacht Rally 2 glorious weeks of cruising and racing – beautifully complimented by the now famous social program that goes hand in hand with the rally.

Mariner Boating Holiday owners Trevor and Maggie Joyce will be back at Sail Port Stephens in 2010 and will do the honours of drawing the winner on the final night of the regatta.

'We like the feel and concept of Sail Port Stephens and are delighted to be involved in the event – it will be fantastic to be presenting the lucky winner on the last night of the regatta' said Trevor.

The more you sail, the more entries you get in the draw – so make a whole week of it at Sail Port Stephens starting with the Commodores Cup from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th April – 3 races over 3 days means 3 entries !

Line up again in the Port Stephens Trophy from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th and another 3 entries go in the draw for the Mariner Boating Holidays major prize.

Six races in the Yachting NSW IRC Championships from Friday to Sunday equates to six entries for every IRC boat that contests every race.

Boost your chances of heading to the Mediterranean with Mariner Boating Holidays by racing to Port Stephens in the feeder races – the RPAYC’s Pittwater to Newcastle on Saturday 10th of April and the NCYC’s Newcastle to Port Stephens on Sunday 11th April.

Mariner Boating Holidays are world renowned for their yacht rallies – from the Caribbean to Croatia – the Aegean Sea to the Amalfi Coast – there’s more lay days than races, and the fun of the social program is second to none.
